Fidelity Investments sponsoring the Artsplosure mobile app, free to guests with smartphones during The Raleigh Arts Festival.

The Artsplosure 2016 mobile app is now in the Apple App and Google Play stores, thanks to a sponsorship by Fidelity Investments. The app, created by Blue Pane Studio, includes many tools and abilities that will ensure that attendee’s have the information needed for the ultimate Artsplosure experience.

The Artsplosure mobile app can be downloaded for free in the Apple App Store here and in the Google Play Store here.

Designed to enhance the festivalgoer’s experience and navigate the new festival footprints, the Artsplosure app provides what is “on tap” for the festival weekend. From the inclusion of nearly 200 art vendors in the Fayetteville Street Art Market and three days’ worth of music on the Main Stage and Park Stage, to performances and activities on Fayetteville Street and in Moore Square, the Artsplosure App puts all of the happenings at your fingertips.

“Staying on top of communication and mobile technologies has been an Artsplosure priority,” said Executive Director Michael Lowder. “Fidelity’s investment with us has made that goal possible.”

“At Fidelity, we focus on providing education and financial expertise to help people live the lives they want,” explained Leslie Walden, vice president Public Affairs at Fidelity Investments’ North Carolina operation in Research Triangle Park. “While we spend a lot of our time working with people on the financial side of things, we also appreciate how important the arts are to inspiring innovation and creativity. We are very happy to lend our technical expertise to support Artsplosure again this year.”

Artsplosure – The Raleigh Arts Festival spans three days, May 20-22 with the juried Art Market and Main Stage on Fayetteville Street and the Park Stage, interactive activities, and more in Moore Square. Nearly 200 visual artists will display works of metal, painting, jewelry, wood and other mediums! This year’s headlining musical acts include Sonny Landreth, Futurebirds, Doyle Bramhall II and other great talent. Kidsplosure will remain in Moore Square on Saturday and Sunday and feature a plethora of crafts and youth-geared performances. Moore Square will also feature Art Putt, a nine hole mini-golf course and interactive art installation, along with the Park Stage with musical performances throughout both Saturday and Sunday.
